First phase Exam
The first phase exam consists of general knowledge and general mental ability test questions. This paper consist all 50 objective questions of two marks each. The pass mark for this exam is 40. The candidates passed in this exam are eligible to sit for second phase exam.
Second Phase Exam
The second phase exam is the main exam. In this exam there are two papers. They are namely second paper and third paper. In second paper questions are from the socio economic condition of Nepal. Similarly the questions are all subjective. Both short and long subjects are asked in this paper. The third paper is optional paper. Among the various subjects candidates can choose one. In this third paper of Nayab Subba exam all the questions are objective. So in this third paper there are fifty objective questions. Each questions carry to marks equally.
Regarding the time period of second and third paper it is like this. The time for second paper is two hours and thirty minutes. But the time for third paper objective questions is just one hour.
