Nepal government and examination board has introduced new letter grading system in secondary education exam and class 12 exams from 2072 BS. Now after seven years NEB has changed the letter grading system. The new letter grading system of examination board seems scientific in comparison to the previous one.
New Nepal NEB Grading System
NEB Nepal has changed the letter grading system. The current SEE and class 12 students will face this new letter grading system. The most important points of this new grading system are as follow.
- Minimum pass marks for theory is 35 percent in each subject
- The pass mark for practical is 40 percent.
- Students must get minimum pass marks both in theory and practical.
- In the past the aggregate of theory and practical is used for grading
- NG i.e. not graded system introduced from this new grading system.
