There are twenty three kinds of number plates in practice. Now after the instillation of embossed number plate, it will be reduce to just 5 types. This is quite ambitious project of Nepal government. According to the contract the high security embossed number plate will be installed in 2.5 million vehicles within five years.
Nepal Embossed Number Plate Color Code
Here is the color code of this digital number plate.
Public Vehicles
The public vehicles number plate will be yellow. Public vehicle have black color letters and numbers in this yellow plate.
Private and Non-commercial Vehicles
Similarly private and noncommercial vehicles will have white number plate. Private vehicles have black color letters and numbers in number plate.
Government Vehicles
So the number plate of government vehicles will be white. Similarly Red colors letters and numbers will be used in the government vehicles.
Diplomatic Number Plates
Diplomatic number plates in embossed system will be white in color. Hence blue colors letters and numbers will be used in diplomatic number plates. So it is somehow similar to the existing color.
The Size of Nepal Embossed Number Plate
